The story of how a single highly successful New York newspaper gained readership by neutral news coverage and changed American journalism. Now, regrettably, that honorable practice is being abandoned. By James Steele Gordon. https://www.wsj.com/articles/political-neutrality-is-what-made-american-newspapers-great-11594418000
Thread. The failure to balance risk and reward has been a hallmark of the response to Covid 19 all along. Children, in particular, are paying a frightful price for that failure.
86,000 students in Nashville - a poor, urban school district - will be denied even the chance at in-person school in August. Online only.
