Former U.S Navy Seal Dr. Dan Barkhuff wants to know if @realDonaldTrump is a coward who can't stand up to Putin or if he's complicit.

Well, Donald, which is it?

As  #ImmigrantHeritageMonth comes to a close, I want to make one thing clear: Immigrants have always made our nation stronger — our diversity is, and has always been, our greatest strength. Donald Trump doesn't get that — we need a president who does.

On the final day of  #PrideMonth, here’s my promise to you: If I have the honor of being elected, I will be the most pro-equality president in our nation’s history. LGBTQ+ rights are human rights — and we can't rest until everyone is treated with dignity and respect under the law.

We’re facing a serious threat — and we need to meet it together as one country. But this President gives us no direction and actively pits us against one another.

We can't continue on like this.

If I’m elected, I’ll immediately reach out to Dr. Fauci and ask him to continue his incredible service to our country. I’ll have the nation’s top medical experts and scientists ready to advise our response on day one — and I'll actually listen to them.

Mr. President, the American people didn’t make enormous sacrifices over the past four months so you could waste your time with late night rants and tweets. Step up. Take responsibility. Do your job.

Tune in as I deliver remarks on how President Trump failed to protect the American people, save our economy, and control the virus: https://www.pscp.tv/w/ccoXyjFvUEVMQkJiT2xyS2R8MU9kSnJXa0xBd1B4WAxnrlhpHD-uPOzVgsBXBZyqLckiW9nhhXZ4Yq...

I want every single American to know: if you’re sick, if you’re struggling, if you’re worried about how you’re going to get through the day — I will not abandon you. I will not leave you to face these challenges alone. We are going to get through this — together.

As simple as it sounds, we need a president who listens. So much of this could have been prevented if Donald Trump listened to someone other than himself.

The President spent his weekend golfing.

Today's decision reaffirmed that states can't put in place laws that unduly burden a woman's right to make her own health care decisions—but the fight isn't over. As President, I'll codify Roe v. Wade and protect a woman’s constitutional right to choose. https://medium.com/@JoeBiden/my-statement-on-june-medical-services-vs-russo-6e903c5b1e7e

It's time we remember who we are as Americans: we treat each other with dignity and respect, we leave nobody behind, and we give hate no safe harbor. We are everything that Donald Trump is not.

William Perry Pendley spent his career fighting to sell off public lands — and to allow drilling, mining, and logging on them with hardly any oversight. Now the President has nominated him to oversee them at  @BLMNational. Consider me opposed.

Mississippi's decision to remove the Confederate emblem from their flag is an important and overdue step. Next we should remove Confederate statues from the halls of our nation's Capitol. These symbols of white supremacist hate and terror need to go. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/tasneemnashrulla/mississippi-bill-remove-confederate-symbol-sta...

NEW: Mississippi is officially removing the Confederate battle emblem from its state flag after Gov. Tate Reeves signed the measure into law. A nine-member commission will design a new flag. https://trib.al/mrl5guY

I’m so proud of our neighbors next door in Mississippi for removing a banner of the Confederacy from their state flag. It's my hope this will help to heal generations-old wounds & serve as a catalyst for further steps taken toward racial justice—in the South & across our nation.

Missouri votes on Medicaid on August 4. And could make it 6.

Oklahoma is the 5th state to adopt Medicaid expansion via popular initiative. This one is a constitutional amendment too. Maine (2017). Idaho, Utah, Nebraska (2018). Oklahoma 2020. In all those states, GOP leaders blocked the expansion, but immense organizing finally expanded.

🚨 Medicaid expansion referendum SUCCEEDS in Oklahoma. IT'S DONE,  @The Oklahoman confirms. 200,000 people will gain access to public insurance in one of the country's most conservative states.

In case you’re wondering what he’s referring to specifically, it’s a law that says that municipalities that get federal $$ for housing or development projects have to examine whether they disadvantage minorities & if there are instances where they do to fix that & level the field

45,000 miles below this point on the importance scale is that the beer summit *did* include the police officer; that was the entire point.

Is there a way to read this in which Jeff Sessions is not writing off one of nation’s — the world’s — leading black scholars as “some criminal”?

Inevitable outcome: Bill Barr would try to shut the whole thing down. If it did manage to see the light of day, the whistleblower's name would be leaked to right-wing news outlets and he or she would start receiving death threats.
