Washington Democrats are counting impeachment votes. President Trump is counting 266,000 new jobs and a 50-year record low unemployment rate. You tell me.

@Nancy Pelosi is counting impeachment votes. Here’s what President Trump is counting: -266k new jobs -54k in manufacturing -Unemployment at 50 yr low -Wages up 3% Less taxes and regulation, more freedom for you and your family. Get gov’t out of the way, and the economy booms.

Think about this: Washington Democrats are impeaching the President, with 24/7 news coverage, blocking a new pro-worker trade deal, and more— —and the American economy under this President is still setting records.

Wow. Non-stop impeachment barrage. And America’s economy and  @Donald J. Trump keep delivering big time wins anyway.

Job growth soared in November. 266,000 jobs were added last month, beating the 187,000 jobs expected. Unemployment fell back to 3.5%.

Doubt it’s a coincidence Democrats rushing to hold their next impeachment hearing Monday at 9:00am. Same day the IG report on FISA abuse expected to drop...

If my Democrat colleagues are looking for truly undisputed facts: - Call transcript shows zero link between aid/political investigations - Aid was released with no new investigations - Ukraine didn’t know aid was withheld during the call - Trump/Zelensky both say: zero pressure

This has always been a verdict looking for a crime. It’s been Democrats’ plan since January 2017 when  @Donald J. Trump entered the  @The White House.

Speaker Pelosi tacitly admitted 2 things here:

1) Asked about key moments of the impeachment "investigation," she brings up polling

2) When asked RE: the speed of impeachment, she says "Mueller was appointed 2.5 years ago"

This is all about politics, and has been since 2017

Amidst all the impeachment noise... a new Economist/YouGov poll out yesterday asked registered voters: “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” Yes - 50% No - 32% Non-stop political barrage.  @Donald J. Trump delivering anyway.

Speaker Pelosi this morning: “The president’s actions in taking these things to court... is an obstruction of justice.”

Jonathan Turley to Democrats, YESTERDAY: "If you impeach a President ... out of going to the courts, it is an abuse of power. It's YOUR abuse of power."

In a city built on bad talking points, Democrats' suggestion that they're heartbroken and "reluctantly" impeaching  @Donald J. Trump may be the worst one of all. They've been looking for some reason—any reason—to impeach the President since January 20, 2017.

Since they’re doing it again... don’t let Democrats pretend like they’re agonizing over impeachment. Give me a break. They had already tried to impeach the President THREE times before this year. And they voted to pursue impeachment before they even saw the Ukraine call text!

One set of rules for them.

A different set for us.

One set of rules for them. A different set for us.

Pelosi and Democrats keep repeating this talking point that “the facts are uncontested.” I’m not sure what hearings they were watching—because none of their witnesses brought any facts. Just presumptions. Perhaps they didn’t watch the hearings... along with the rest of America.

Invoking the name of the President's 13 year old son to make a joke. Reprehensible.

Invoking the name of the President's 13 year old son to make a joke. Reprehensible.

What we got today: 3 witnesses, with long records of liberal bias, one of whom made a joke about a 13 year old kid and disparaged conservatives living in rural areas. And then one witness, who opposes Trump, still saying the record does not support impeachment. You tell me.

Turley nails it!!

Jonathan Turley, not a Trump supporter, looks at Democrats and delivers one of the most powerful quotes of the hearing so far:

"If you make a high crime and misdemeanor out of going to the courts, it is an abuse of power. It's YOUR abuse of power."

A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.

.@RepMattGaetz to Prof. Karlan:

"You don't get to interrupt me on this time! ... When you invoke the president son's name here, when you try to make a little joke out of referencing Barron Trump, that does not lend credibility to your argument. It makes you look mean."

I remain lost as to what my Democrat colleagues thought they were accomplishing bringing in 3 liberal law professors to explain why President Trump should be impeached. This is a debacle.

One of Democrats' impeachment witnesses, the one who says she can't walk on the sidewalk in front of Trump hotel because of her hatred for Bad Orange Man, just went after Barron Trump, if you're wondering how things are going.

I know Democrats are all "speaking truth to power" re Karlan, but bringing up the president's son is tasteless and deserves no place in this hearing. Shouldn't be hard to acknowledge that.

Pamela Karlan: "Contrary to what President Trump says, Article Two does not give him the power to do anything he wants."

"The Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility, so while the president can name his son Barron, he cannot make him a baron"

The Democrats are attacking freedom. They want to stack the Supreme Court, do away with the Electoral College, and let NY and LA run the country. That’s what we’re fighting. We’re fighting for freedom, we’re fighting for Tennessee, and we’re fighting for you. #WhiteboardWednesday

Today’s hearing was supposed to shore up and reenergize the Democrats’ sinking base of support for impeachment.

It is not going as planned for the Democrats.

The American people are tired of this sham. It’s time for the Democrats to cease their partisan, vindictive efforts.

Classless move by a Democratic “witness”. Prof Karlan uses a teenage boy who has nothing to do with this joke of a hearing (and deserves privacy) as a punchline. And what’s worse, it’s met by laughter in the hearing room. What is being done to this country is no laughing matter.

Democrats: "Vindman said the 7/25 call was a demand" Tim Morrison: "It wasn't a demand" Kurt Volker: "It wasn't a demand" President Zelensky: "I was not pressured" Democrats: "...Vindman said it was a demand"

To be clear what's going on here: Democrats are using Alexander Vindman's *interpretation* of the President Zelensky call, elevating Vindman's opinion even though Vindman's superior (Morrison), an ambassador to Ukraine (Volker), and ... President Zelensky ... all say he's wrong
