After scientists find cancer in the bones of a dinosaur that lived 76 million years ago, Matt Hancock wonders how they managed to do a test so quickly.

Can you imagine a Murdoch - or even, sadly, a BBC journalist - daring to be so robustly honest in their questioning of this sad little creep?

Interviewed a carer for a piece for tomorrow. Piece isn’t about PPE but we got chatting about it. Throughout March and April she and her colleagues were using rainmacs and black bin liners for every shift. Have been reporting on this for ages but still never fails to shock.

In December Boris Johnson told voters “We’ve got an oven-ready deal! Ready to go!” Today we hear this! Why is this charlatan not being held to account? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/coronavirus-no-deal-brexit-government-medicine-stockp...

Arrogant and offensive. Can you imagine having to work with these truth twisters?

1BILLION has been given out in contracts for PPE, and not one piece of PPE has been delivered by these companies. I do not understand how people can think this government is doing a great job economically...

I see someone capable of conducting an interview has finally got in a room with the President. Someone who asks follow-up questions, knows the data, who frowns and flicks his foot impatiently like a normal human being in the presence of someone so powerful and so underwhelming.

RIP John Hume.

My guess is that there are many people alive today, living a blessed ordinary life, because of the work he and others did. There's politics for sociopaths, and there's politics for grownups. One of them keeps people alive. RIP sir. x https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-44753271

That feeling when you’re worth millions but still use taxpayers’ money during the worst economic crisis in 300 years, even as childhood malnutrition doubles.

Journalist does job. Quite a rare sight these days

This is pure wilful self-delusion facing down responsibility & reality. Stunning.

So in 2016, despite having no detail on what Brexit meant, people knew exactly what they were voting for. But in 2019, despite having a detailed Withdrawal Agreement, MPs didn't know what they were voting for.

To vote against proper scrutiny of a bill & then to vote for that bill & then to complain about not having understood that bill is Iain Duncan Smith level stupid.

Oh my god

Oh my god

Now more than ever, we need a president who believes in science.

What an appalling ridiculous comment. It’s not about you  #SarahVine but the tens of thousands of vulnerable ppl & front line NHS & care workers who’ve been putting their lives on the line. A competent Govt can save lives & our economy but ours can’t do either.  #Covid_19

@Sarah Vine There never was a need “for an entire nation to bankrupt itself”. The worst of the economic consequences are down to repeated and continuing dangerous and poorly thought through Government decision making aided by journalists like you. There is still time to reduce impact.

@Dr Mike Galsworthy  @David Powell 🕷🐟🇪🇺#BlackLivesMatter #FBPE  @Sarah Vine I find it so hard to see what drives these people to be knowingly wrong on just about every single issue. I don't think it is stupidity or ignorance in many of the 'influencers' cases (maybe so with their followers). Sociopathic tendencies?

Can anyone explain to me how a Russian can sit in the House of Lords yet John Bercow and Dominic Greave are deemed unworthy?

Serious allegations against Tory MP will inevitably dominate headlines but Sunday Times story about govt ditching pledge to test asymptomatic care home residents & staff this summer also hugely significant. Senior health official quoted as saying it’ll “undoubtedly” cost lives.

With  @Boris Johnson as PM, we are seeing in Britain the normalisation of corruption that for decades we have condemned elsewhere. The Lords list but the latest. My piece for ⁦ @TheArticlehttps://www.thearticle.com/the-lords-list-and-the-rise-of-british-corruption

This is an appalling decision that sends a message that the Conservative Party do not take either their safeguarding responsibility or people who come forward seriously. I hope that decent Tories privately contact Number 10 and their whips and express their disgust.

For the record, they didn't sit on it for a month; they spent a month trying to cover it up.  #ToryRapist  #TorySleaze  #ToryMP  #ToryShambles  #ToryBritain  #JacobReesMogg https://dorseteye.com/tory-chief-whip-and-jacob-rees-mogg-sat-on-tory-mp-rape-allegation-for-a-month...

The government is starting to panic about Brexit, which is weird, because it's supposed to be the best thing that ever happened to us.

I challenge  @Jo Johnson to reject this absurd peerage or to tell us all why he thinks he’s worth it.

Imagine how much better off we’d be generally if Jacinda Ardern were our Prime Minister. Maybe she could run Britain by zoom in her spare time.

Is... is Tim 'Wetherspoon' Martin running our coronavirus policy? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/aug/03/english-pubs-likely-to-be-spared-new-covid-19-restrict...
