If you were wondering how a fool like @Jim_Jordan got elected. This is what his heavily gerrymandered voting district looks like.

President Trump recently announced he’s sending more federal agents in notably Democratic run cities. Congressman James Clyburn says Trump is sending them in to 'incite violence.' https://nbcnews.to/33ixt0N

Every Trump enabler needs to ask: “If a patriot like Alexander Vindman can endure the slings and arrows that come with standing up for what’s right, what’s stopping me from putting principle over career? How do I want to be remembered?” https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/08/01/alexander-vindman-retiring-oped/

Trump is golfing for the 2d day in a row while the country’s crises grow more severe hourly. Now that he’s basically checked out rather than doing the job of president, maybe he should make it official and resign. I’m sure Pence could be convinced to pardon him on his way out.

BREAKING: On Trump’s way to the golf course today a protester was holding a tombstone-shaped sign reading 156K, another dressed as the grim reaper and another gave him the finger.  #YesWeCanAgain

Has Trump condemned Putin for reportedly offering $ for militants to kill our troops in Afghanistan? We still don't know... and it's been 37 days.

what kind of shithole president lets a pandemic rage because he thinks it will only kill people in Democratic states

Why has Donald Trump built a wall around the White House? Abraham Lincoln referred to it as the "People's House" - even in the midst of the Civil War, all were welcome to visit.

An Indiana school couldn’t make it through its first day of reopening without a coronavirus scare. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/01/us/schools-reopening-indiana-coronavirus.html

Among the biggest questions about school reopening: what happens if someone tests positive? Here's how an Indiana school reacted when faced with that conundrum just this week, and how NYC and other districts are planning to manage: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/01/us/schools-reopening-indiana-coronavirus.html?action=click&module...

Most schools in the country that open classrooms, like this one in Indiana, will likely deal with positive cases right away. What are their plans?  @Eliza Shapiro  @Giulia McDonnell Nieto del Rio &  @Shawn Hubler report it's a grab bag, like pretty much everything else. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/01/us/schools-reopening-indiana-coronavirus.html?smid=tw-share

One of the first school districts in the U.S. to reopen its doors during the pandemic did not even make it a day before a call came from the county health department — a student who had walked the halls and sat in various classrooms had tested positive https://nyti.ms/30jTV7Y

.@EricHolder: There is no indication that there is widespread voter fraud. What it does do is increase turnout... The idea that it favors one party or the other is not empirically shown. Things #Trump & Barr are saying are simply inconsistent with experience and the facts. #AMJoy

For this week's Right Richter, I wrote about the right's obsession with hydroxychloroquine as a political tactic. The end result of the HCQ campaign: blaming Fauci for Herman Cain's death. https://www.thedailybeast.com/right-richter-why-is-the-right-so-obsessed-with-hydroxychloroquine

Last night the Trump Administration launched a second attack against the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe during this pandemic. There are two bills we passed in the House to save their land sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk. RT if you think he should call a vote on them now.

@Donald J. Trump ALWAYS BLAMING OTHERS Trump *never* takes responsibility. His pathological inability to ever accept fault & his need to always blame others, be it China or the Democrats, is toxic. In reality, had his admin managed the pandemic more effectively, millions wouldn't be unemployed!

@Tommy Hicks  @Donald J. Trump  @Erin Perrine Biden wants to tax billion dollar corporations and raise the highest progressive tax percentage from 37% to 39.6%. This is far lower than it was under Ronald Reagan and only applies to the super wealthy. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.kiplinger.com/slideshow/taxes/t055-s001-2020-election-joe-biden-s-t...

@Manu Raju Try Jim Jordan, he sprays his crap right into the faces of every witness who testifies, including idiots sitting with him not wearing masks. I'll blame, that's how much I can't stand this man. He's up there with McConnell.

@Manu Raju Rep. Grijalva was wearing a mask, but wearing a mask is essentially worn to protect others from getting sprayed with airborne droplets. Masks are only efficient when EVERYONE wears one. All congresspeople need to be tested even if they wore a mask around Vector  @Louie Gohmert.

@Manu Raju Oh I blame  @Louie Gohmert He actively and purposefully is seeking to infect the 3rd  @Nancy Pelosi in line because the 4th in line Won't make Trump leave office. Speaker Pelosi needs to wear N95 or work solely from home  @Claude Taylor

@Manu Raju According to Donald Trump, if Rep. Grijalva didn’t get tested he wouldn’t have  #coronavirus. 😳

@mkraju Unfortunately, many Republican members of Congress are super spreading thugs. Being selfish has long been part of their political MO, but now it extends to hurting the health of their own colleagues.

Get well soon, Congressman Grijalva. And thank you for your strong statement.

Grijalva added: “Numerous Republican members routinely strut around the Capitol without a mask to selfishly make a political statement at the expense of their colleagues, staff, and their families.”

My sister's best friend just died of Covid 💔😢

Since Trump’s spending so much time at Walter Reed, he should just start calling it “the Northern White House.” 😳
