Quite odd to hear South Wales Police's use of facial recognition being described as a pilot when it began in 2017 and had no set end date

Has the Home Office responded to today's facial recognition judgement? Because  @Tony Porter SCC has been on every station and platform saying he can't do his job because it hasn't given him proper guidance

Just got off the phone with Jeremy Vaughan, Deputy Chief Constable of South Wales Police, who is also the national policing lead for facial recognition He says: "Do I envisage seeing it on the streets of South Wales again? Yes I do"
