Everyone believes that some views should be beyond the pale. We "only" disagree on where the line should be drawn I lay out my own approach in latest  @Urbane Cowboys episode with  @Doug McCullough &  @Josiah Neeley 🤔: https://soundcloud.com/urbanecowboys/episode-108-shadi-hamid-on-the-letter-and-free-exchange-of-ideas

TBH It is very dumb for me to have more followers than  @WisdomOfCrowds . Seriously go follow them and subscribe to the podcast.

Lots of new stuff! We've got another podcast episode up, this time with our great friend  @Robert Nicholson, who talks about his recent trip to Minneapolis, and how religion might be the only way to bridge the awful racial divides in America. https://www.wisdomofcrowds.live/podcast/episode-23-can-religion-heal-our-racial-divides/

This has been a big week for  @WisdomOfCrowds. We launched our newsletter! https://wisdomofcrowds.substack.com/ Issue 1: How anti-woke should you be? https://wisdomofcrowds.substack.com/p/how-anti-woke-should-you-be Issue 2: Do we care about human rights? https://wisdomofcrowds.substack.com/p/do-we-care-about-human-rights

LOVE: Lisbon’s *new* pedestrian only streets are painted blue, so that there is no confusion as far as the eye can see. A great way to send the message, without cluttering up the street with signs.

When it comes to issues we think matter, we project far too much which is why it is so easy to be outraged. Great exchange  @Shadi Hamid. Now following  @WisdomOfCrowds https://wisdomofcrowds.substack.com/p/do-we-care-about-human-rights

i'm a big fan of @thomaschattwill ... tho for his mind

judging by repeated mentions of his aesthetic presentation he may become the 1st sex symbol to come out of the "cancellation wars" (sorry @shadihamid )

Twenty years ago : Camp David. Two lame ducks - Clinton and Barak - pretend to solve in a few days a 100y conflict. A predictable failure but the Israelis have since then been convinced that Barak made a generous proposal refused by Arafat. Which is false.

I’ll add that some of the themes in the bonus convo (for paid patreon subscribers) & in the main podcast with Robert really hit home and have been much on my mind given the entire DJax situation this week. (4/4)

The toxic polarization that exists in the US today might actually be the main reason it would lose a new cold war. In the last one, at least everyone agreed on the Soviet Union. In this one, a Senator can't unite the country against a country running concentration camps.

I have a confession to make: I don't like dogs And I've decided to take a stand Rant starts at 3:40. Enjoy. https://open.spotify.com/episode/4AU7k0B1AyQAEqm9jspyc9?si=EZLNtsBlQZKoLbsbnhLk-w&fbclid=IwAR0CExQeT...
